“TRANSSIB” (TRANS-SIBERIAN RAILWAY)

The trip on the Trans-Siberian railway is a unique opportunity to get acquainted with the sights of vast Russia from Moscow to Vladivostok.

The length of the Trans-Siberian railway is 9290 km. Trans-Siberian railway crosses 8 time zones. It takes 7 days to travel across the Trans-Siberian railway from Moscow to Vladivostok.

During a two-week “Transsib” tour you will visit the cities of Yekaterinburg, Novosibirsk, Krasnoyarsk, Irkutsk, Ulan-Ude, Chita, Blagoveshchensk, Vladivostok, spend a day on lake Baikal, see the Ural mountains, the Amur and Yenisei rivers, Taiga.

The tour: “From Moscow to Vladivostok”

1^st Day: Moscow

∙          Departure from Moscow to Yekaterinburg from Kazan railway station

2^nd Day: Yekaterinburg

∙          Arrival to Yekaterinburg

∙          Accommodation at the hotel

3^rd Day: Yekaterinburg

∙          City tour

∙          Visiting the West-East border

∙          Transfer to the railway station

∙          Departure to Novosibirsk; night at the train

4^th Day: Novosibirsk

∙          Arrival to Yekaterinburg + Accommodation at the hotel

∙          Visiting the sights of the city center (Transsib Museum, Opera and Ballet theatre), stroll along the old streets and the embankment of the Ob river.

∙          The second part of the city tour

∙          Night at the hotel

5^th Day: On the train

∙          Transfer to the railway station; departure to Krasnoyarsk

6^th Day: Krasnoyarsk

 ∙         Arrival to Krasnoyarsk at 01:20 + Accommodation at the hotel

∙          City tour, Экскурсия по городу, trip to the national Park "Stolby", visiting the observation deck "Tsar fish" over the Yenisei

∙          Night at the hotel

7^th Day: On the train

∙          Transfer to the railway station; departure to Irkutsk

∙          Day + night on the train

8^th Day: Irkutsk|Baikal

∙          Arrival to Irkutsk + city tour

∙          Moving to Baikal. accommodation in hotel.

9^th Day: Irkutsk|Baikal

10^th Day: Buryatia

• Arrival to Ulan-Ude
• Visiting the Ivolginsky datsan – the center of Russian Buddhism

• Transfer to the railway station, departure to Chita by train

11^th Day: Chita

• Arrival to Chita. City tour
• Picnic-lunch overlooking boreal forest (taiga)
• Transfer to the railway station. Departure to Blagoveshchensk.
